Toto LG Chairman Mourns Gadabuke Administrator’s Death, Announces Three-Day Prayers
The Executive Chairman of Toto Local Government Area, Pharmacist Ahmed Baba Yahaya, has expressed profound shock and heartfelt condolences over the death of the Administrator of Gadabuke Area Administrative Council, Hon. Jibrin Isa Maiwada, who passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, after a brief illness and was promptly buried in accordance with Islamic rites.
In a swift show of solidarity, Pharm. Yahaya visited Gadabuke, the administrative headquarters of the council, where he commiserated with the first-class traditional ruler of the area, the Gomo Babye, His Royal Highness Alhaji Aminu Suleiman, as well as the bereaved family and the entire community, describing the loss as a great blow to the progress and unity of the area.
Pharm. Yahaya, while consoling the mourners, prayed for the repose of the deceased’s soul and divine strength for the family and people of Gadabuke to bear the irreparable loss, emphasizing Hon. Maiwada’s invaluable contributions to administration and development in Toto LGA.
In line with Islamic traditions, a three-day prayer session (Tausiyyah) has been scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, March 18, 2026, commencing at 9 o’clock in the morning in Gadabuke, calling on residents, traditional leaders, and well-wishers to attend and join in supplications for the late administrator.
