City Boy Movement National Leadership Moves to Harmonise Kogi Chapter Ahead of Empowerment Programme
The National Leadership of the City Boy Movement (CBM) has stepped in to resolve differences within its Kogi State Chapter, directing a harmonisation of structures ahead of a scheduled empowerment programme this Saturday.
In a statement issued Thursday, by the Office of the Kogi State Media and Publicity Secretary of the City Boy Movement, the intervention follows a disagreement between the state directorate and the Office of the North Central Director on Contact and Mobilisation, led by Hajiya Ramatu Ibrahim, over procedural issues surrounding the planned event.
The National Leader of the Movement, Hon. Francis Oluwatosin Shoga, said the decision was reached after consultations, with a clear directive issued to align all parties in accordance with the organisation’s hierarchy.
According to the directive, all lingering issues have been resolved, paving the way for the empowerment programme to proceed as planned with full national backing.
Kogi State Director of CBM, Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah, in a separate statement, called on state executives, local government coordinators, ward leaders and other stakeholders to actively participate in the programme.
He emphasised the need for close collaboration with the Office of Contact and Mobilisation to ensure seamless execution, in line with the national leadership’s directive.
Ogah noted that the move reflects the chapter’s commitment to discipline, unity and institutional order, adding that all members are expected to comply fully with the harmonised position.
