Nasarawa North APC Stakeholders Back Wadada for Senate, Endorse Gov Sule’s 2027 Bid

APC Party executives, elected and appointed officials, and critical stakeholders of the Nasarawa North Senatorial threw their weight behind Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada as the All Progressives Congress preferred aspirant for the district, while also endorsing Governor Abdullahi Sule for the Senate seat in 2027.

The resolutions were contained in a communique issued after a high-level meeting with Governor Sule at the VIP Guest House, Akwanga, on Friday.

The gathering drew participants from the three local government areas of Akwanga, Nassarawa Eggon and Wamba, covering all 35 electoral wards in the district.

According to the communique sign by stakehders chairman, Timothy Anjide and Barr. Hassan Wali, APC Stre organizing secretary, stakeholders commended Governor Sule for his “purposeful leadership and foresight” in sustaining what it described as the existing, though unwritten, zoning arrangement in Nasarawa State.

In a key decision, the meeting “endorsed and adopted” Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada as the APC’s preferred aspirant for the forthcoming party primaries, noting that the move aligns with the position of Governor Sule.

The stakeholders also passed a vote of confidence in Governor Sule and endorsed him as the APC candidate for the Nasarawa North Senatorial District seat in 2027.

Other resolutions from the meeting include: Unity and Mobilization, 2027 Strategy, tinubu Endorsement, APC Dominance, and appeal to residents of Nasarawa North to redouble efforts toward maintaining APC dominance in the state and nationally.

The meeting ended with what the communique called a “renewed resolve to work in unity” for the progress of Nasarawa State and a decisive APC victory in 2027.
