CONTROVERSY TRAILS STELLA OKOTETE’S CLAIMS OVER APC HISTORY AGBARHO POLITICAL LEADERS RAISE QUESTIONS OVER 2014/2015

A heated political backlash is emerging following recent statements credited to Stella Okotete regarding her role and positioning within the APC during the 2014/2015 election cycle.

Concerns are now being raised by key grassroots actors in Agbarho who dispute parts of her account, describing them as inconsistent with realities at the time.

According to Chief Mathias Efe Olowu, the Agbarho APC foundation leader, maintains that her claimed level of involvement does not reflect the actual structure of the party during that period.

He stated that,

“As someone deeply involved in the APC structure in Agbarho at the time, I can confirm she was not in APC neither was she part of the party operational leadership or key stakeholder meetings during the 2014/2015 election cycle.”

He further referenced a critical pre-election gathering held at Chief Harrison Abuge’s residence, where major political party leaders converged ahead of the 2015 presidential election.

According to him

“She was not physically present at that meeting, but she was reached via phone alongside other leaders who could not make it to the meeting,

Chief Mathias further alleged that during the call, her position was clearly stated as:

“APC should not be considered for votes.”

This claim has intensified debate over the consistency of her current political narrative with past events.

Further accounts from the same political circle suggest that during the 2015 election period;APC leaders and stakeholders faced difficulties securing venues in Agbarho

Campaign logistics were allegedly disrupted by local resistance

Election funds distribution had to be relocated to alternative private arrangements

One account described the environment as

“A highly tense and politically hostile atmosphere for APC operations in Agbarho community at the time.”

The statement also questioned the framing of her political trajectory, arguing that she benefited from established political structures of Omo-Agege’s during her early rise in Abuja.

It was stated,

“You cannot rewrite the platform that introduced you into your political breakthrough.”

The development has now shifted attention toward calls for clearer public clarification regarding her exact role within APC during the 2014/2015 cycle was that she was not in APC in 2014

The nature of her political alignment at the time and consistency between past participation and present day claims which is rooted on lies and manipulation
