Mark Okpanachi Appreciates Supporters, Reaffirms Commitment to APC and Renewed Hope Agenda

A former aspirant for the House of Representatives seat representing Idah Federal Constituency under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Ogah Mark Okpanachi, has expressed appreciation to his supporters, friends, and members of the City Boy Movement (CBM) for their support throughout his political journey.

Okpanachi, who serves as Director of the City Boy Movement in Kogi State, conveyed his gratitude in a statement issued following the conclusion of the APC primary election.

He commended members of the movement across Kogi State and Nigeria for their loyalty, sacrifices, encouragement, and commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda championed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to him, supporters of the movement dedicated their time, resources, and energy not only toward his aspiration but also toward promoting the progressive ideals of the APC at the grassroots level.

Reflecting on the outcome of the primary election, Okpanachi acknowledged that the process came with mixed emotions and challenges but urged his supporters to remain calm, focused, and committed to the broader vision of building a stronger and more inclusive political future.

He disclosed that despite participating as an aspirant, he was unable to vote at his polling unit due to the alleged absence of electoral materials before results were eventually announced.

However, he said he would not dwell on personal disappointment, stressing that the overwhelming solidarity and support shown by his followers during the process remained his greatest source of encouragement.

Okpanachi noted that the City Boy Movement was built on the principles of loyalty, service, resilience, and grassroots connection, adding that the support demonstrated by people across various communities was evidence that the movement’s vision continues to resonate widely.

He also appreciated the leadership and members of the City Boy Movement for providing opportunities for young people to participate actively in grassroots political engagement and national development.

The APC chieftain further called for greater unity, reflection, and renewed commitment toward strengthening internal democracy and inclusion within the party, especially for loyal grassroots mobilizers.

He thanked supporters, stakeholders, youth leaders, women groups, community mobilizers, and well-wishers who stood by him throughout the political process, assuring them that their sacrifices and support would never be taken for granted.

Okpanachi reaffirmed his commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the ideals of the City Boy Movement, and the progressive vision of the APC, stressing that he remains dedicated to promoting justice, unity, inclusion, and sustainable development for the people.

His statement:

A LETTER OF APPRECIATION TO MY SUPPORTERS, FRIENDS, AND THE CITY BOY MOVEMENT (CBM) FAMILY

With a heart full of gratitude and deep reflection, I wish to sincerely appreciate everyone who stood by me throughout my journey as an aspirant for the House of Representatives, Idah Federal Constituency, under the platform of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

To the entire members of the City Boy Movement (CBM) family across Kogi State and Nigeria, I remain profoundly grateful for your loyalty, sacrifices, encouragement, and unwavering belief in our shared vision. Your commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda and your continuous grassroots mobilization efforts remain truly inspiring. Many of you gave your time, energy, resources, and voices in support of not just my aspiration, but the ideals we collectively represent.

Politics comes with moments of joy, challenges, lessons, and reflection. While recent developments during the primary election process may have left many supporters concerned and disappointed, I encourage us all to remain calm, focused, and committed to the larger vision of building a stronger and more inclusive political future for our people.

Personally, despite serving as Director of the City Boy Movement in Kogi State and participating as an aspirant, I experienced challenges that prevented me from even voting at my polling unit due to the absence of electoral materials before results were announced. However, I choose not to dwell on personal disappointment, but rather to appreciate the overwhelming solidarity shown by countless supporters who stood firm throughout the process.

What strengthens me the most is the fact that our movement was built on loyalty, service, resilience, and genuine connection with the grassroots. The love and support shown by our followers across communities clearly demonstrate that our vision continues to resonate with the people. For this, I remain deeply humbled and encouraged.

I also wish to specially appreciate the leadership and members of the City Boy Movement for the opportunities, trust, and platform given to many young people to contribute meaningfully to national development and grassroots political engagement. The movement remains a symbol of hope, energy, and progressive participation for many Nigerians.

As we move forward, I believe this moment calls for greater unity, reflection, and renewed commitment toward strengthening internal democracy, inclusion, and support for loyal grassroots mobilizers who continue to defend and promote the ideals of the party daily. Our collective sacrifices must continue to inspire hope, participation, and confidence among our supporters.

To every supporter, stakeholder, youth leader, woman leader, community mobilizer, and every well-wisher who believed in this journey, I say thank you. Your support will never be taken for granted. This journey may have presented challenges, but it has also revealed the strength of our unity and the power of genuine grassroots connection.

I remain fully committed to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the vision of the City Boy Movement, and the progressive ideals of the APC. Together, we will continue to work for justice, unity, inclusion, and a better future for our people.

May God bless you all abundantly.

Signed,
