The Kogi State chapter of the South West Agenda for Asiwaju/North Central Alliance Agenda (SWAGA/NCA) has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on securing the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential ticket for a second term ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement issued on Saturday in Lokoja by the State Coordinator of SWAGA, Prince Micheal Ojotule, the group described the outcome of the nationwide APC presidential primaries held on Saturday as a reflection of the confidence Nigerians have in the leadership of President Tinubu.

Ojotule stated that the overwhelming support received by the President during the primaries was an indication that Nigerians want the Renewed Hope Agenda to continue beyond 2027.

He commended President Tinubu for what he described as people-oriented programmes and initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of citizens across the country, irrespective of religion, ethnicity, or social status.

Ojotule, who was an house of representatives aspirant for Idah Federal constituency of Kogi State, expressed confidence in the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu

According to him, the administration’s policies and developmental strides have continued to positively impact the lives of many Nigerians.

The SWAGA coordinator further assured the President of massive support from the people of Kogi State during the 2027 presidential election, noting that party members and supporters were fully prepared to mobilise voters across the state.

Ojotule also urged members of the All Progressives Congress and SWAGA leadership at all levels not to relent in their efforts toward ensuring the re-election of President Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in 2027.
