Former Kogi State governorship aspirant in the 2023 election, Pastor Innocent Ihiovi, popularly known as the “Fearless Cleric,” has declared President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo as his projected winners of the 2027 presidential and Kogi State governorship elections.
Ihiovi reportedly made the declaration from the top of Zuma Rock in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, during what he described as a prophetic exercise.
The cleric, who is a known supporter of immediate past Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Adoza Bello, addressed journalists during the exercise, where he spoke extensively about the performances of President Tinubu and Governor Ododo.
Ihiovi Praises Tinubu, Ododo
Ihiovi commended the two leaders for what he described as significant developmental achievements, insisting that their performances would remain noteworthy in the political history of Nigeria and Kogi State.
According to the cleric, “in the history of Nigeria since 1960, none have done like them,” as he praised Tinubu and Ododo for what he described as their accomplishments in office.
His declaration comes as political activities and alignments ahead of the 2027 general elections continue to gather momentum across the country.
Cleric Applauds Kogi Accountant General
The former governorship aspirant also expressed appreciation to the Accountant General of Kogi State, Hajia Habibat Onumoko, whom he described as the best accountant in Nigeria’s history.
Ihiovi commended Onumoko for what he described as numerous achievements and contributions extending beyond the conventional responsibilities of her office.
Zuma Rock Declaration Attracts Political Attention
The unusual setting of the declaration at the summit of Zuma Rock has attracted attention among political observers, particularly against the backdrop of growing political activities ahead of the 2027 elections.
While Ihiovi presented his remarks as a prophetic declaration, the outcome of the 2027 elections will ultimately be determined by Nigerian voters and the electoral process.
