The Youth Coalition for Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada’s 2027 governorship ambition has donated customised exercise books and other educational materials to pupils and students in Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
The donation was made on Saturday at the Albert Event Centre, Nasarawa Eggon, during the inauguration and coordination of youth structures under the coalition.
The initiative, according to the organisers, formed part of the coalition’s ongoing awareness and sensitisation campaign for the governorship ambition of Senator Wadada, while also providing support to young people in the area.
Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Wadada Youth Coalition, Comrade Jaafar Loko, expressed confidence in Senator Wadada’s capacity to address some of the challenges confronting Nasarawa State if elected governor.
“Leadership is about solving a problem. Any leader that cannot solve a problem is not supposed to be a leader,” Loko said.
He urged the newly inaugurated coordinators to regard their appointments as a responsibility and discharge their duties diligently.
Loko also charged the coordinators to take the coalition’s message to communities across Nasarawa Eggon and sensitise residents about its activities and Senator Wadada’s political aspirations.
The chairman expressed optimism about the growing strength of the coalition, saying the large turnout at the event demonstrated the level of support for the movement.
The Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Chairman was also made a patron of the coalition and was represented at the occasion.
In his remarks, Mohammed Abdullahi Alogani, Coordinator of the Youth Coalition for Senator Wadada in Nasarawa Eggon LGA, expressed confidence in the activities of the coalition under Loko’s leadership.
Alogani pledged continued support for the coalition’s programmes and mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 political activities.
Other speakers at the event also expressed their support for the coalition and donated funds to strengthen its activities.
