Speaking during the occasion, Dantalle expressed appreciation to his guests for their goodwill and support. He also called on Nigerians of the present generation to embrace the responsibility of redefining the country’s leadership system and laying a solid foundation for future generations.

He emphasised the importance of building a leadership culture that would create lasting opportunities and provide a strong foundation for those coming after the present generation.
From Anyigba to National Political Leadership
Born in 1971 in Anyigba, Kogi State, Dantalle hails from a family originally from Bunkure, Kano State. His late father, Alhaji Mamman Dantelle, was a renowned industrialist.
According to his biographical profile, the family has maintained a presence in Kogi State for nearly two centuries, with interests and contributions spanning commerce, agriculture, industry and politics.
Dantalle began his formal education at Community Commercial Secondary School, Anyigba, before proceeding to Bayero University, Kano, where he graduated in 2002 with an honours degree in Sociology.
Entrepreneurial Ventures and Agricultural Investment
Beyond politics, Dantalle has built business interests in the oil and gas sector and agriculture. He has also been involved in agro-industrial development, including the management of a palm oil refinery in Anyigba.
As part of his agricultural investment drive, he embarked on a vertical integration programme that included establishing a palm plantation spanning more than 10,000 acres. The venture reflects his stated interest in expanding agricultural production and strengthening the palm oil value chain in Kogi State.
Contributions to Democratic Engagement
Dantalle’s involvement in politics contributed to the formation of the Allied Peoples Movement. He also served in the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), first as Secretary and subsequently as Chairman.
Through these positions, he participated in engagements involving political parties, coordination among political stakeholders and discussions on democratic participation.
Philanthropy and Community Development
Dantalle is also recognised by his associates for philanthropic activities and support for community welfare. His charitable commitments reflect his stated belief in giving back to society and improving the lives of others.
Married with children, he continues to combine family responsibilities with his entrepreneurial interests, political engagements and philanthropic activities.

As he marks his 55th birthday, his journey brings together a longstanding family business heritage, agricultural investment, political participation and community service.
The birthday tribute was issued by Comrade Omera Ugbede Opaluwa, a Kogi-based social media commentator, who congratulated the APM National Chairman and wished him continued progress in the years ahead.
Happy 55th birthday to Alhaji Yusuf Dabo Maman Dantalle.
