Karu LGA Commissions 17 Water Projects During Christmas Holiday.

Water being essential necessity to humans should be a priority of caring governments at all levels.

It is with this determination to ensure water reaches every nook and cranny in Karu local government area of Nasarawa state that the Chairman of the Council, Honourable Samuel Akala Gajere embarked on commissioning of water projects across the LGA.

In a bid to ensure that safe and potable water reaches all especially when they are most in need of the essential commodity, Honourable Akala could not rest, but utilized the Christmas Holiday to commence the Commissioning of 17 boreholes drilled by the administration.

According to the Chairman, water is life as such there is the need to urgently provide safe drinking water to some of the communities across the local government area.

 

During this Yuletide, the Chairman along with the Councillors commissioned the following water projects in Panda Development Area.

1. Kondoro Koro water project
2. Angwan Jaba water project
3. Panugbe water project
4. Odyong Nyankpa Palace water project
5. Kare water project
6. Rugan Fulani Gitata water project.

 

“We believe that, these water projects will improve the quality of life and livelihood of our citizens.” Council Chairman Akala stated.

The Tattara water project is scheduled for commissioning on Sunday, 29th December, 2019.

“The collective wellbeing of our citizens remains our top priority.” The Chairman said.
