The Governors of Adamawa state Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and his Bayelsa counterpart, Douye Diri, on Tuesday, condoled with Senator Philip Aduda, representing the FCT over the demised of his father, Rt. Revered Tanimu Samari Aduda.
Rt. Reverend Aduda, who died after a brief illness in Abuja, last Wednesday at the age of 76, was the Bishop of Gwagwalada Anglican Dioceses.
The Adamawa state governor, Fintiri who accompanied by the national planing committee of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) convention, said the death of the late Rt. Revered Tanimu Samari Aduda, was a great lost to not only the people of Karu and Gwari alone, but the entire nation.
“The late Rt. Revered Tanimu Samari Aduda, was a man that had traversed the length of this country to work as a Bishop. And he had played his part in developing peace and unity across various divide of this country,” he said.
He described the late Rt. Revered Tanimu Samari Aduda as a leader that every one need to come to commiserate with the family, adding that the late clergy was one-time Bishop of Anglican Dioceses in Adamawa state.
Fintiri, prayed for the reposed soul of the late clergy to rest in peace, while he also prayed for God to give the entire Senator Aduda’s family to bear the irreparable lost.
Also, governor Doure Diri of Bayelsa state, has condoled with Senator Philip Aduda, over the demised of the late clergy, Rt. Reverend Tanimu Samari Aduda.
He said the death of the late clergy was a great shock to not only him but the entire people of Bayelsa state, while he prayed for God to give family the fortitude to bear the irreparable lost.
He also prayed for the soul of the late Rt. Reverend Tanimu Samari Aduda to rest in peace.
Global Times Nigeria correspondent report that, district heads and village chiefs in Gwagwalada area council,also paid a condolence visit to Senator Philip Aduda, over the demised of his late father.
Senator Aduda, while responding said he was filled with joy for the show of love people across different walk of life troupe to come and condole him over the demise of his late father, Rt. Reverend Tanimu Samari Aduda.
