The lawmaker representing Adavi/Okehi federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. (Engr) Joseph Asuku Bello has successfully distributed motorcycles, grinding machine, crushing machine, pumping machine, spraying machine, cash, and other empowerment materials to over 400 constituents in Adavi and Okehi local government areas of Kogi State after the successful completion of empowerment program aiming at complementing the efforts of the Federal government to diversify its economical focus to Agriculture.
Hon. Asuku Bello, speaking through his personal assistant, Mr Mohammed Kabir during the exercise, urged beneficiaries to put the items to proper use in order to enhance their livelihoods, as well as support the activities of our great party, the All Progressive Congress (APC). He urged beneficiaries to support and vote for the party’s candidates in the forthcoming December 12th Local Governments election in the federal constituency and the entire State in general.
Quoting Hon. Asuku Bello, Mr. Kabiru said: ”Let me use this opportunity to appeal to fellow constituents, especially our dear women and youths, who were unavoidably not captured in the current exercise to remain calm, patient and keep fate with me as their Representative at the Green Chamber, because many more empowerment programmes will be carried out by me during the tenure.”
Mr. Mohammed Kabir said the distribution of the empowerment materials was part in series of programmes lined up by his Principal, Hon. Joseph Asuku Bello to reciprocate the people of Adavi/Okehi federal constituency, for the unflinching support, goodwill and solidarity shown him before, during and after the 2019 elections to represent the federal constituency at National Assembly.
Mr. Kabiru reinstated Hon. Asuku Bello’s readiness to deliver more dividends of democracy from the National Assembly, to complement the efforts of His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello and other leaders of the party, in bringing development and better life to the land and people of Adavi/Okehi federal constituency.
