The Special Adviser to the Governor of Kogi State on Project Monitoring, Alh. Usman Ochidi (Powerful) has appealed to the users of Ganaja /Ajaokuta road to be patient with the government and obey traffic rules and regulations as the Governor along with the Hon. Commissioner for Works and Housing, Kogi State, has met with the Hon. Minister of Works and Housing Development over the deplorable conditions of federal roads in the state, most especially the Ganaja /Ajaokuta, Felele roads and others.
Hon. Ochidi said, the Minister has assured the Governor and the good people of the state that work will commence soon.
He stated that, what is required at the moment is to show some level of cooperation and understanding with the government as the federal government has taken over the responsibility of fixing the road in view of the ongoing flooding ravaging the state.
Hon.Ochidi equally applauded the federal road safety officials in the state for coming to the aid of commuters for effective and efficient traffic control in the affected portion of the road.
