Arc. Ukwenya Receives Icon of Diligence Service Award, Promises Continuous Humanitarian Services

An Award of Icon of Diligence Service have been conferred on Architect Yakubu Sunday Ukwenya of the Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja.
The Award which was conferred on him by the National Association of Northern Nigerian Students (NANNS) was in recognition of his immense contributions towards National Development, Educational Upliftment, Youth Empowerment and Service to Humanity.
Speaking with Newsmen after receiving the Award, Architect Yakubu Ukwenya, appreciated the student body for the recognition, stressing that it was a call to more service.
“They came all the way from Kanu, Kaduna, Lagos and Abuja to bestol this Award on me so I really appreciate this noble body for this honor
“Its a rare privilege to be chosen for such an Award and my joy knows no bound receiving this Award from NANNS”
Architect Ukwenya, who recently completed his PhD in Architecture in the United Kingdom through the Kogi State Polytechnic TETFund sponsored program, appreciated the management of the institution for the opportunity, promising to put the knowledge acquired to good use.
He stressed that the Award will serve as a morale booster, adding that he will not relent at contributing his quota at every given opportunity to ensure the development of the society.
“I will be doing more to the people what I was doing before NANNS found me worthy of this Award, I will do more within the confinement of the law
“Any genuine issue that concerns youth, student and Community development, I will ensure I contribute my quota to it as God helps me”
Architect Ukwenya appreciated everyone that graced ocassion and prayed God to continue to grant them their heart desires.
