At 31: ADP house of representatives candidate, Paul Meregini celebrates Abia’s creation anniversary

The House of Representatives Candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in the 2023 general elections in Abia State, Chief Paul Meregini, has felicitated with the people of Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency on the occasion of the 31st Anniversary of the Creation of Abia State.
Merging, in a statement issued on Saturday in Umuahia, the state capital, while congratulating Abians on the auspicious celebration noted that every concerted effort is needed from Abians towards addressing numerous challenges impeding economic and Infrastructural growth of the state, and well, the security of Abia state.
He applauded the genuine efforts of all well-meaning Abia citizens through contributions of laudable productive ideas in fostering and institutionalizing true democratic process at all levels of Abia’s political leadership tilted to improve the poor standard of livelihoods, and mostly raise the bar in state’s infrastructure, and also ensuring the security of lives and properties of the citizenry, reminding present democratically-elected government in all levels to redouble their efforts and step up workable action plans that will see to the provision of basic dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of the populaces, and enhance development in Abia state.
Continuing, Mr. Meregini who was the immediate past Administrative Secretary of the All Progressives Congress in Abia State, also used the medium to reiterate his unwavering commitment to effective and responsive representation if supported to emerge as a member representing the Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency in the House of Representatives in the forthcoming general elections in 2023 in the state, as he further urged Abia people to use this period of the 31st Anniversary of Abia’s creation to reflects on the sorry condition of the state.
