Atiku-Okowa 2023: PSG Ibegbulem organises 1Million Health Walk in Delta State.

 

Principal Secretary to the Governor of Delta State and Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Hon Hilary Ibegbulem and youth not fewer than one million on Friday had a health-walk in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of the State, to express the excellent quality of health of the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa.

The mammoth crowd also displayed are campaign promotional materials of PDP Delta Guber candidate, Rt Hon Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Orohwedor and his running mate, Sir Monday Onyeme.

With less than 12 hours notice, youth from Ika Federal Constituency assembled as early as 5:30am to participate in the keep fit exercise led PSG Ibegbulem, popularly known as the “Lion Heart of Africa,” by his teeming supporters and benefactors across Delta State and beyond.

Hon Ibegbulem is well known for his awesome philanthropic strides spanning nearly two decades and counting. He commands the respect and loyalty of millions of youth who are always ready to respond to his invitation for lawful political activities under the PDP.

Okowa’s PSG is obviously one of his tested and trusted men, always there for him come rain, come shine, mobilizing for Okowa Political Dynasty, OPD, in collaboration with PDP party structures and political associates.

Speaking to newsmen in Agbor, Ibegbulem said the health walk was also to demonstrate the quality of health of youth in the state as a result of the good governance of the incumbent governor, Senator Okowa, who he described as his mentor and father to all Delta youth and citizens of the state.

He assured that governor Okowa will continue to invest heavily for the progress of youth till the last day of this administration, adding that the stake for youth human capacity development, empowerment and consistent mentorship shall be taken to a higher level when Okowa become Vice President of Nigeria in 2023, by the grace of God.

“As you can see, our youth are healthy and ready to engage in a long distance walk. Our principals; the PDP presidential candidate and his running mate, Atiku and Okowa are also very healthy and ready to work long hours to restore the lost glory of Nigeria occasioned by the misrule of the All Progressives Congress, APC, under President Muhammadu Buhari.

“The mortality rate in Delta State is the lowest in the country because of the proactive steps taken by our leader and amiable governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa wherein he deliberately introduced and executed result oriented health policies and programmes since the inception of this administration in 2015.

“Delta State was the first to implement the Social Health Insurance Contributory Health Scheme in Nigeria, and the result is what you are witnessing today; our youth and people are very healthy and prepared to work round the clock for the landslide victory of PDP in the forthcoming 2023 general elections,” Ibegbulem said.
