Ayikwu Egbira Hails Nasarawa State Speaker Balarabe, Says He Has No Hands In The Alleged Removal Of DVC NSUK.

The Coalition of Egbira Cultural Association, Ayikwu Egbira Onobihum, (AEO) the apex socio-political youth organization in the country has commended the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Balarabe for his commitment for socioeconomic development of Toto Local Government, State and Country at large, adding that the house under his able leadership has indeed proved that they mean well for Nasarawa people.

Speaking during the group courtesy call on the Speaker in Lafia, Nasarawa State capital on Monday, Vice President of the group, Prince Hamisu Omaki who led a high power delegation, said it noted that the Nasarawa State House of Assembly headed by Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Balarabe as Speaker has proved that the house is in serious business of ensuring that the state is safe hands.

According to him, “Nasarawa house leadership is indeed a group of great think-tanks who are in the legislative Chambers for serious business to make laws for the betterment of Nasarawa populace who elected them at the polls.” Prince Omaki said.

He however, lamented over series of unfounded allegation circulating on the Social Media by those who never mean well for their land and working against the revered Speaker which they alleged that Speaker Balarabe masterminded the removal of the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the Nasarawa State University Keffi.

Prince Omaki said after through investigation by the group it was revealed that the former DVC of NSUK have attained his two years of tenure by the constitution which pave way for his replacement by the institution and wonder why Speaker Balarabe will be tagged as brains behind his purported removal as alleged by some unscrupulous elements.

He commended the speaker for his leadership prowess and commitment especially on the developmental stride in areas of Agriculture, industrialization, rural electrification project, Education, Health, Security and human capital development among others,  saying its only God that can reward him abundantly.

“Toto Economic will soon be a reality as youths who are ready to invest in the ongoing revolution in the Agriculture sector situated at Umaisha district by the state government can easily accessed when the project is completed.

Prince Omaki therefore urged the Speaker to used his good office to bring more development in order to consolidate on already achieved dividends through his purposeful leadership style. He said.

Responding, Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim Balarabe and Walin of Opanda Kingdom, while receiving his August visitors at his residence in Lafia, described the Ayikwu Egbira as best for image making in Egbira nation.

He said like the emerging group and many others out there were his source of strength and determination to succeed in office, adding that he would not relent to develope the area as long as he remain in the system.

The Speaker who was flanked by his brother and lawmaker representing Toto/Gadabuke constituency, Hon. Usman Labaran Shafa, assured the group of their readiness to partner with any group with meaningful ideals to add value or fast track the development of Toto LG which is their major concern.

He appreciated them for finding them worthy for the visit and promised never to let them down in discharge of their official duties.

The Speaker who declined comment on his alleged involvement in the purported removal of the DVC, said he was happy despite his silent on the matter, the Ayikwu Egbira Onobinhu was able to do the needful by launching an independent investigation and was able to tell the world what really happened.

Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim Balarabe said his office will be wide open with any group that has genuine advise that will lead to development of Toto local government as not hesitate in bringing them forward for prompt action.

Global Times Nigeria had reported that since the tenure of the former DVC NSUK elapsed there was series of allegation circulating on the Social Media from the opposition that the Speaker of the House masterminded his removal as DVC despite official press statement from the institution exempted the Speaker from such development.

Recalled, several political groups in Toto LG has also aligned their interest with their leader and Speaker of the house, describing him as a political genius working day and night for the development of the area.
