The formerr All Progressives Congress, APC, National Woman Leader, Hajiya Salamatu Baiwa Umar-Eluma who was honored with a chieftaincy title, Atama Ebule Atta Igala’ has been coronated.
The grand event which took place at palace of Atta Igala’ HRM Mathew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa 11 on Thursday, November 17 attracted dignitaries from all walks of life who troupped to Idah to celebrate with the former national woman leader.
Hajiya Salamatu Baiwa Umar-Eluma who was honored for her contributions to the socio-economic development of igala land, Kogi and Nigeria at large was visibly elated over the honor done her.
As early as 9am on Thursday, roads leading to Idah from Anyigba was already inundated with vehicular movements that came to honor the political figure.
Families, friends, well wishers and colleagues from far and near took over the ancestral home of the igala kingdom in Idah to celebrate with her on the auspicious occasion and great honor.
The former national woman leader treated the large contingent who joined her in the celebration to a reception at her residence in Anyigba.
The new Atama Ebule Atta Igala’ had made immeasurable contributions to the development of igala kingdom in all ramifications, Kogi state and Nigeria at large.
Hajiya Baiwa used the occasion to pray for the growth and development of igala kingdom, Kogi and the entire country, promising to continue to do more at every given opportunity.
