A citizen of Kogi State and staunch supporter of the New Direction Administration, Medinat Ahmed has hailed the leadership style of the Executive Governor of the State, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.
Medinat, who is popularly called Nene, in an interview in Lokoja said since Governor Bello came on board, the State has witnessed tremendous transformation in all ramification compared to the past.
Nene noted that the Governor have been able to build bridge of unity among the various tribes in the State, stressing that Governor Bello’s commitment at ensuring peace in all Local Government Areas of the State was unprecedented.
“I have been supporting the youthful, purposeful, vision driven and result oriented Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, not because he is my tribe
“GYB have been able to bring the people of different tribes together, today, we are practicing Ebigo in Kogi State
“Governor Bello is gender sensitive, today we have many women in position of power in kogi State, youths are in positions of power as well, the education sector is receiving the desired attention and we no longer hear the issue of strike in Kogi State owned higher institutions
“The health sector, rural electrification, massive road construction/rehabilitation, the traditional institution, all these and others too numerous to mention are receiving the midas touch of His Excellency, they are there for all to see, so, His Excellency’s leadership style is just exceptional, he’s a rare gift to the people of Kogi State and the Country at large”
While speaking on the Governor’s commitment to the security of lives and property of the people of the State, Medinat Ahmed explained that Governor Bello deserves all the accolades he has been receiving, stressing that Kogi has become a safe haven for all to carry out their legitimate businesses, thereby increasing the livelihood of the people of the of the Confluence State.
“Let me remind us again that His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello has received several awards on security, kogi is very safe today compared to the Kogi of before where people can’t sleep with their two eyes closed
“We are very happy with the governance of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State” she added.
