The Bajana of Obajana, His Royal Highness, Oba Doctor Engineer Idowu Isenibi (JP), has commended Governor Yahaya Bello for releasing fund for the construction of roads across the three Senatorial District of Kogi State.

Oba Isenibi who gave the commendation through a telephone conversation said the construction of Intercity roads and others would promote commercial activities and reduce crime perpetrated by men of the underworld who rely on the bad road condition to unleash mayhem on citizens.

The Royal Father particularly praised him for the construction of the Ultra Modern interchange at the Ganaja Junction noting that the project, when completed, would ease traffic grid along the area.

He commended the members of his cabinets as well as the Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area, Mohammed Dansebe Mohammed, for standing by Governor Bello in taking right decisions that will promote development and stability in governance.

The Bajana however appealed to Governor Yahaya Bello to establish a Satellite Campus of the Confluence Univerty at Obajana to bring education closer to the area that is fast becoming the commercial nerve centre of Kogi State.

He explained that Obajana community has become a host to every party of the country hence, the need for more social amenities to cater for the needs of the people.

The Royal Father urged the people of the state to be supportive of the presidential ambition of the Governor and prayed for define blessings upon him and the members of his cabinet.
