Be crusaders of FCT youths – Gwagwalada chair task Youth-Network leaders.

The chairman of Gwagwalada Area council, Alhaji Abubakar Jibrin Giri, on Monday, played host to the newly inaugurated FCT Youth Network leader and its six area council representatives, in his office, in which he urged them to be good crusaders of the youths across the territory.
He also urged them to see their positions as the voice of the FCT youth, which he said was the reason why the youth decided to repose their confidence to elect them so that they will be able to stand and fight for their right in FCT.
He stated that youths constitute a larger percentage of the society population, nothing that young people have been marginalised in society’s developmental process.
“And it is due to the conspiracy of the elites, which has made it impossible for youths to be on the fringes of leadership,” he said.
The chairman, while congratulating the FCT Youth-Network leader and the six area council representatives for their successful inauguration, also appreciated them for their visit.
Earlier, the FCT Youth-Network leader, Comrade Ibrahim Umar Maker, informed the council chairman that he led the six area council representatives on a familiarization visit to him in his office after their successful inauguration last Thursday, in Abuja.
He, therefore, appreciated the council chairman and other stakeholders for his support in ensuring that the FCT Youth Network has come to stay in the FCT, assuring him of the youth network collaboration towards providing viable infrastructures for the benefit of the good of the rural communities in the area.
