Bello applauds BEBM exhibitions’ initiatives, urges mobilization of Professionals for ODODO

Kogi state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has commended the efforts of the organizers of Kogi Built Environment and Building Materials Exhibitions saying their efforts in promoting made in Nigeria building materials is patriotic.

He expressed satisfaction with capability and capacity of the organizers, which he said is gradually creating positive impacts on the state economy and making shelter affordable for the citizens.

The Governor, who made the commendation at the Dinner Night to end this year’s edition of the exhibition, encouraged the Organizers not to relent in their efforts at promoting made in Nigeria building materials and products.

He maintained that the sustained effort of the organizers is capable of improving the local economy, pointing out that the Exhibition remains one of the highly appreciated economic development initiatives by selfless private sector.

The Governor was represented at the event by Hon. Ibrahim Akoyin ,a Senior Special Assistant .

The Governor appealed to the organisers of BEBM Exhibitions to mobilize professionals in the built and construction industry to vote for the APC Governorship candidate, Alhaji Usman Ododo in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.

He noted that all professional bodies should embrace the APC Governorship candidate for the state to witness greater development.

He emphasized that it is imperative for Usman Ododo to continue on the legacies of Governor Yahaya Bello because it is through the succession of government that the people can be guarantee of steady growth and development of the State.

Earlier in his address, the Convener, Hon. Oladipo Makakese Bayode encouraged practitioners and the government to invest in events that can promote indigenous products in the building and construction industry.

Engnr Bayode noted that to boost the growth of the economy, the State and the Nation at large, should embark on aggressive mobilization of the gullible Nigerians , especially, through workshops, seminars and exhibitions.

The Kogi Built Environment and Building Materials Exhibition is an annual event of the BEBM Exhibitions. The 2023 edition is the 5th series of the Exhibition. Well attended by notable giant companies in the building and construction industry such as Dangote Cement Factory Obajana , West African Ceramic Limited Ajaokuta amongst others
