Beneficiaries of Conditional Cash Transfer in Nasarawa Commend Gov. Sule.

Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi A Sule has been commended for initiating people-oriented policies especially improving the economic situations of the less privileged through the Nasarawa State Conditional Cash Programme.

Beneficiaries of the Programme from across the 13 Local Government Areas gave the commendation during the payment exercise of the stipends for 2 months on Thursday.

For some decades, many people in  Nasarawa State have been nurturing their socioeconomic challenges all alone, praying relentlessly for a patriotic leader that has the interest of the masses at heart.

The prayer has been answered with the emergence of Governor Abdullahi A Sule who initiated the Cash Transfer Programme which has gone a long way at improving the economic situation of the poor and vulnerable households, and people living with a disability.

Describing Governor Abdullahi A Sule as an emphatic and goal-oriented leader, the beneficiaries pointed out that the gesture was unprecedented in the political history of Nasarawa state and have assured the Governor of their resolve to support his developmental aspiration in moving the State to enviable heights.

It is a fact that any responsive Government must ensure that its vision is in tandem with the wishes and aspirations of its people. This is seen in the State by the number of accolades received by the Governor in every nook and cranny of the State, for improving the lives of the poor and vulnerable households, and people living with disabilities, via the State Conditional Cash Transfer Programme.

The beneficiaries further appeal to the Governor to increase the number of beneficiaries, as there is no other Programme that touches the lives of the common man in the State like this one, where the impact is felt even at the most remote areas of the State.

Governor Abdullahi A Sule flagged off the program in March 2021 and is overseen by the SSA to the governor on Humanitarian Services, Hon Imran Usman Jibrin.

Responding to the commendations by the beneficiaries from Nasarawa Local Government which is the last payment point of the exercise,  Hon Imran also appreciated Governor Abdullahi A Sule for his unwavering efforts in eradicating poverty in the State.

He assured people of the Governor’s continued support and desire to better the lives of the people of the State, charged the beneficiaries to use the modest stipend judiciously to improve their livelihood.
