Board Appointment: Nasarawa Speaker Lauds President Buhari For Appointing Omaki As Member, Governing Council, Fed. Poly, Damaturu.

Following the recent appointment, Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for appointing Hon Yusuf Omaki, a former commissioner and one time state assembly member in the state as member, Governing Council, Federal Polytechnic, Damaturu, Yobe state.

This is contained in a statement signed and issued by his Press Secretary, Jibrin Gwamna and made available to newsmen in Lafia today.

Balarabe Abdullahi said that the appointment of Omaki, a former member  representing Umaisha/ Ugya constituency at the state legislature was a right peg in a right hole.

” I want to congratulate Hon Yusuf Omaki on his appointment as member, Governing Council   Federal Polytechnic, Damaturu, Yobe state.

” His appointment was well deserved considering his wealth of experience and contributions to the development of the state and the country at large.

” I also want to commend President Muhammadu Buhari for appointing Hon Omaki and we will continue to remain grateful to Mr president for the gesture, ” he said.

“We will continued to work together, Hon. Omaki and my self to provide the best for our people, our state and our country, I have high respect and confidence for Hon. Omaki to deliver on any assignment or responsibility giving to him” Speaker Balarabe added.

He urged the former lawmaker to discharge his duties without fear or favour when inaugurated as member of the council.

The speaker assured Omaki of his total support to enable him succeed.
