Comr. Shaibu Anthony J. was born into the family of Mr Stephen Jibrin Shaibu and Mrs Mary Ele-Ojo Shaibu at AJekelaga, Abocho Biraidu, Dekina LGA of Kogi state. He was fondly refered to as genius because of his early prodigious skills which were astonishingly surprising amongst his peers and people around him, it then became clamorous to begin his educational life at a very tender age of life, in order to complement his shrewdness.
EDUCATION
He obtained his FSLC from LGEA primary school Ajonoja Abocho Biraidu, Dekina LGA of Kogi State in the Year 2002 from where he proceeded to CSS AJekelaga and later completed his Senior Secondary education at Biraidu Community Secondary School, Abocho Biraidu, Dekina LGA 2007 where he obtained his SSCE. After so many attempts to get his desired Course in Universities of his choice, In 2010, he proceeded to School of Preliminary Studies, Kogi State Polytechnic (Osara Campus) where he was grounded in Mathematics, Geography and Physics before he Proceeded to Federal Polytechnic Idah where he obtained his National Diploma in Building Technology with Upper Credit. His unquenchable desires for knowledge knows no bounds, and his visions in academics are higher than the sky, he was geared up to break chains of ligament which could barricade his ambition to pursue his education, he was further admitted through Direct Entry into Prestigious University of Jos where he obtained B.Sc in Building in 2019 and he took his Oath as Graduate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Building (NIOB) August 2019. He then proceeded with his mandatory one year National Youth Service Corps at Kagarko LGA of Kaduna State 2020.
LEADERSHIP
His exceptional Leadership qualities, Skills and proper represention earned him trust and confidence of the people, his ideas and innovations distinguish him amongst others in terms of making choice of leaders capable of representing the people.
– He was elected SUG Senator representing SES at FPI 2012,
– He was elected National President of National Association of Building Students (NAOBS – Nigeria) 2017-2018 where he precided over Student Body of the Department of Building in over 70 Higher Institutions of Learning (Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education) where he served as one of the Best Presidents the association has ever produced. The Association is the Student Body of the Nigerian Institute of Building – NIOB.
– He was elected Igala Student Associations (I.S.A) President 2017-2018, University of Jos where he also served meritoriously, through his leadership skills and Influence scholarship was given to so many Igala Students in University of Jos.
– He served as the National Coordinator of Kogi Progressive Youth Vanguard, (KPYV) a platform that was created out of the burning desires to ensure Kogi is dragged from the pitiable situations, and properly propelled to an enviable pinnacle of excellence, which it ought to be as the economical hub of the Nation, The fit he was able to achieve was mind-blowing, despite the negative perceptions of people about Kogi State, his efforts today earned him not just the state government recognitions, it has also earned him National recognition as one man who stood firmly to resist all attempts to project his state in the path of negativity.
– Due to his up rising Influence and his diligence to achieving task, He’s currently being appointed by University of Jos Alumni Association as the Unijos Alumni Centre Project Champion as the Youngest in the Team.
– Amongst his peers, Department, Faculty and even outside University, he has headed so many committees, Political and Non Political groups, he serves as a Consultant to so many young Leaders.

He’s a Selfless young leader per Excellence who is widely celebrated by his peers for always standing strong by his positive convictions.
