Chikara Ward APC Executives Endorses Barr. Tanko, Stand For Zoning Arrangement For Peace, Equity, Fair-Play

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Chikara North Ward, Zone B, have adopted Administrator of Kogi Local Government Area, Hon. (Barr.) Muhammed Tanko Musa as their candidate for the yet to announce date for Kogi forthcoming council elections.

Chairman, leaders and members of the party in the area also said they’re yet to see any Chairmanship aspirants on ground like the people’s Administrator Barr. Tanko inview of his numerous life touching programs and transformation agenda he has brought to his people.

The endorsements took place during the APC stakeholders’ meeting held at the Administrator’s resident Lokoja, Kogi State.

The meeting was also attended by Supervisory Councilor, Hon. Shuaibu Adamu Aduho, his DG Campaign, Hon. Muhammed Isah SK, and the member of the LG Executive Council of the party among others.

The Chikara ward party Chairman and leader of the delegation, Hon. Muhammed Yahaya, said they were in the Administrator’s resident to expressed their open support to his candidature.

Barr. Tanko has done so much for the people and hence for their collective support to enable him do more as elective chairman.

Others speakers who spoke during the meeting were of the view to ensure that the existing zoning arrangement in the council is sustain and maintained, therefore, calling on those working to destroyed the unity of the council to desist.

They described Barr. Tanko as honest man, prudent, capacity and a history breaker.

They also said they are part of his winning team as no one is the race apart from him.

The Supervisory Councilor for Education and Social Services, Hon. Shuaibu Adamu Aduhu, said the party leaders were so committed to their pledge even as they promised to ensure the existing zoning arrangement do not only stand rather sustain and maintained for fair-play, equity, tranquility and for the upcoming generation.

Mr. Shuaibu Aduho, expressed gratitude to God, for given the people of Kogi State, Governor Yahaya Bello, his Deputy, Chief David Edward Onoja and went on to called for the need for unity in the party and among the diverse peoples of Kogi LGC.

Also speaking, DG, Campaign for Barr. Tanko, Hon. Muhammed Isah SK, said the endorsement was on the progress made in the last 3 years, especially in the fields of security, infrastructure, and the general well-being of the people.

In his remark, the Administrator of the council, Barr. Tanko, said he understood the clamour by the ordinary people on the streets who raised four fingers on each arm, ”

He, however, stressed the need to sanitise party politics by ensuring dividends get totthe real electorates in the council.

“We would not have won if Governor Yahaya Bello had not performed. Governance is about the people and that is what the present administration is doing,” the Administrator said.

It would be recalled that others wards have endorsed the council Administrator for continuity and among them are including, Akpasu, Chikara North, Chikara South, Koton-Karfe South East, Akpasu, Irenedu and many are still coming.
