Hajiya Imaan Suleiman-Ibrahim said the government through the commission had made concerted efforts to ameliorate and bring to the barest minimum the hardship being faced by the IDPs, through the provision of basic amenities and engagement outlets.

According to her, this was against the backdrop of the proliferation of IDPs due to the o the unending incidence of insurgencies and natural disasters across the country.
