The senator representing the good people of Kogi East Senatorial District, Senator Jibrin Isah Echocho has commissioned Acharu Palm oil processing plant, Egume, Ultra modern skill acquisition center at Ayingba and Rice Milling plant at Ejule Ojebe, Ibaji local government area of Kogi State.
Commissioning the projects, the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello represented by high powered delegation of cabinet members led by his Deputy, Chief Edward Onoja, the Secretary to Kogi State government, Chief Dr. Folashade Ayoade Arike including Hon. Commissioner, Deputy Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed.
Delivering the Governor’s speech, the Deputy Governor appreciated the efforts of Senator Jibrin Isah Echocho for being proactive to his Constituency, legislative duties and doing excellently well on his oversight functions for the benefit of all.
He stated that, this is the first time a senator from the district is Commissioning a productive processing plant aimed at improving the condition of living of the people as the immediate community, local government area and the entire senatorial district and the state will benefit maximally as a lot of skill and unskilled workers will be engaged thereby reducing unemployment, curb insecurity problem and guarantee food sufficiency.
The Deputy Governor emphasised the need for the people of the area to continue in their support for the senator’s second term as he has declared to re-contest to enable him do more, he urged APC delegates and party supporters and voters to vote for all APC candidates in the fourth coming 2023 general elections.
He further stated that, Echocho has written his name in gold while in the public service and he is doing excellently well in the political sector as his name rings bell positively on national issues.
Senator Jibrin Isah Echocho who was elated with joy for the successful completion of the projects, thanked the good people of Kogi East for their continuous support and prayers, emphasised that, it has been part of him to impact positively on the lives of the people, a task he has been doing for ages and used the occasion to commend the governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello who God has used to change the narrative of his political life positively, promised to remain committed and supportive to all his aspirations for the good of all.
The Secretary to Kogi State government,Dr. Mrs Folashade Ayoade Arike, the Senator representing the good people of Kogi Central Senatorial District, and Senator Dr. Yakubu Oseni were present to honor the senator and the good people of Kogi East.
Also present were some traditional rulers from the area, Executive Chairmen of Ankpa, Omala, and Olamaboro local government areas including APC Chairmen from the nine local government areas of Kogi East.
