The Deputy Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Roland Asoro has felicitated with the Deputy Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Comrade Philip Shaibu, who turns 51 on December 1.
The Deputy Speaker in a congratulatory statement signed and made available to Newsmen in Benin city on Tuesday, described Comrade Shaibu as one of the pillars in modern democracy, noting his contributions to good governance.
Asoro also eulogized the good virtues and leadership qualities of the Deputy Governor.
“His Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Comrade Philip Shaibu has been a very reliable and dependable person. I have always cherished Shaibu because he is someone worthy of emulation,” Asoro said.
While calling on the Deputy Governor to use the good opportunity he has to better the lives of Edo people, Asoro also urged the Deputy Governor to remain steadfast in all his dealings.
“I pray that Almighty God will sustain your good vision in the task of making Edo great again. I wish you many more years in good health and under God’s continuous protection and blessings.” Asoro said.
