Eid-El-Kabir: Barr. Tanko Osuku rejoices with Bello over peace, tranquility reigning supreme in Kogi.

The Chairman, Kogi state Civil Service Commission, Barrister Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku has felicitated with the Executive Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, on the occasion of the celebration of the Eid-El-Kabir world wide by millions of Muslim Ummah.

While wishing the Governor, his family and the entire Muslim Ummah of Kogi state a peaceful celebration, Barr. Tanko Osuku thanked the Almighty God for granting the leadership of the state the strength and wisdom to pilot the affairs of the state.

While he rejoiced with the Governor for the peace and tranquility reigning supreme in Kogi state, the Chairman of the Civil Service Commission appealed to the people of the state to sustain their unflinching support and loyalty to Government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello.

He urged the people of the state to use the celebration of Eid El Kabir for sobber reflection especially the sacrifice to be rendered for the development of the state and the entire nation.

Tanko therefore admonished the leaders and the led to imbibe the virtues of Prophet Abraham who as a sign of loyalty to God, agreed to sacrifice his beloved son Ishmael.

As Abraham obeyed the command of God, the Angels replaced the Son Ishmael with a ram for the sacrifice which what is being celebrated today. It is therefore celebration of obedience and loyalty to God.

He therefore prayed to God to continue showering His blessings on the Governor, the government and the entire people of the state.
