Eid-El-Kabir: Senate minority leader felicitates with Muslims, calls for prayers

The Senate minority leader, Senator Philip Aduda representing the FCT, has felicitated with Muslims in the territory and across Nigeria on the celebration of this year’s Eid-El-Kabir, while calling on residents of the FCT and other Nigerians to unite and also pray for the country to overcome the current security challenge facing the country.

Aduda, in a statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen on Friday, in Abuja, called on FCT residents and other Nigerian Muslims, especially those participating in this year’s Hajj, to also redouble their prayers for the country.

He said it is in incumbent on people at a peak of a festive season like this to be united as one people to pray over any challenge facing confronting the country.

He said, he was optimistic that with prayers from people across various religious lines, FCT and Nigeria will overcome her challenges, even as he called for special prayers for the peaceful conduct of the 2023 general elections in the council.

Aduda, therefore, assured the good people of the FCT of his continuous efforts in providing more dividends of democracy through infrastructural development, youth and women across the 62 political wards of the territory.
