Ex-APC-national officer, Nduka Anyanwu rallies support for Tinubu, APC ahead of formal inuaguration

Ahead of May 29th inauguration of new democratically-elected government in Nigeria, a southeast party stalwart and a two-time ex-national officer of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) in the country, Chief Nduka Anyanwu, on Sunday, canvassed support for the new President-elect of Nigeria, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

This was even as the southeast party chieftain lauded the outcome of the recently-conducted presidential election by the independent National Electoral Commission and the Nigerian electorates for reaffirming their confidence in APC-led administration in the country.

Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission had declared the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, as the president-elect of Nigeria after a concluded presidential election which took on Saturday 25th february, 2023 across the federation.

Tinubu, a former Lagos State governor, was declared the president-elect after he polled 8,794,726 votes to win the 2023 presidential election.

He won the election ahead of other contenders- the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Atiku Abubakar; the Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi; and the New Nigeria Peoples Party candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Earlier, Anyanwu, while earlier rallying support for the Nigerian President-elect, Bola Tinubu in an interactive session with journalists on Sunday, gave a passmark on the Independent National Electoral Commission for the credible conduct of the recently-held presidential poll, including national assembly, state governorship and houses of assembly elections which had been adjudged by international communities, foreign and local independent observers, civil society organisations(CSO), non partisan pro-democracy groups, socio-cultural organization, religious bodies, traditional institutions, as perfect, fair, and globally-acceptable standard.

He hailed the outgoing All Progressives Congress led administrations in Nigeria for its in positive efforts in raising the bar in the nation’s economy, infrastructure, security, promotion of local production and small and medium scale business enterprise (SME’s) etc.

Anyanwu also confided that the new nigerian-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will consolidate and deliver on his electoral campaign promises, having demonstrated leadership acumen and strides when he served as lagos state governor.

The ex-house of representatives hopeful of the All Progressives Congress, further
reminded the citizens on the daunting challenges impeding the efforts of successive government to raise the bar in the nations economy and Infrastructure in the last twenty-four years.

Anyanwu also reminded citizenry on the collective responsibilities to render maximum supports and total cooperations to the incoming federal government towards consolidating on giant strides of the outgoing incumbent President, Muhammadu Buhari, asserting there are no doubts in the ability and capacity of the Nigerian President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to live up to expectations and tasks ahead.

He noted that nigerian development is rested on every citizens as they are presenting expected to contribute and complement the development-oriented agendas which the incoming federal government had earlier promised during the successfully-concluded electioneering campaigns to reel out when voted into office, towards consolidating the already-achieved, laid, and laudable strides, through the facilitation of the building of critical infrastructures, and formulation and implementation of more resulted-oriented policies and programmes, tilted to enhance the ready-made and existing social investment empowerment and development scheme programme by the government of the APC.

His words: “the administration of APC has rewritten the ugly narratives about our economy, infrastructure, security network and intelligence gathering to curb and also degraded act of criminalities, such as banditry, kidnapping, terrorism, armed robbery and the rest.

“The outgoing government has ensured and engendered enhanced education system and also ensured an effective and efficient system in our healthcare delivery and service. It has equally engendered an effective mechanized system of farming which has undoubtedly engendered food sufficiency and security, and rest of other laudable monumental strides.

“So, there are no doubts in the capacity of our President-elect, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu will continue to build upon on the ready-made critical and impactful economic and infrastructural projects, scattered across all parts of the country by the outgoing administration of the All Progressives Congress.

“It is my strong belief that Tinubu’s presidency will inaugurated will set the ball rolling, especially, engendering
direct increase in standard of our infrastructures which will continue in providing ease flow of economic activities, and doing business by the populaces in Nigeria.

“And also, incoming federal government of the progressive party will consolidate and ensure the already-existed political stability and harmony are sustained, whereby continuing with this display of political tolerance, giving the room for dissenting and opposing parties to lend their voices constructively on critical national issues and government-oriented polices and programmes rolled out to enhance people’s livelihoods, growths and development in the country.

While earlier suing total support of all Nigerian people for the soon-to-be inaugurated federal government under the governing All Progressives Congress, Anyanwu, who was a member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) for Ahmed Bola Tinubu, urged the citizenry to pray fervently for the incoming administration in order to surmount and end fundamental problems hindering the effort of the nation to attain economic greatness, and deepen and achieve more infrastructural growth and development for their good, and that of Nigeria at large.
