Ex- Gov Bello’s Aide conferred with Chieftaincy Title as Dan-Isan of Igu (Koton-Karfe) Kingdom

Hon. Alhaji High Chief Suleiman Abdulhameed Danjuma

Former Senior Special Assistant on Political Matters, representing Lokoja/Koton-Karfe Federal Constituency to Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, has been conferred with a Chieftaincy title as the Dan-Isan of Igu (Koton-Karfe) Kingdom.

He is Alhaji Suleiman Abdulhameed Danjuma Gegu.

The title which was conferred on him by His Royal Majesty, the Ohimege-Igu of Koton-Karfe, Alhaji Abdulrazak Sanni Isah-Koto, was in recognition of his uncommon humility, integrity, selfless service and Philanthropic gesture exhibited within and outside Igu Kingdom over the years.

Speaking with Newsmen after the exercise, the new Dan-Isan,
Alhaji Suleiman Abdulhameed Danjuma Gegu, expressed appreciation to almighty Allah and the Ohimege-Igu, Alhaji Abdulrazak Sanni Isah-Koto for the honour.

Alhaji Danjuma Gegu expressed his readiness and commitment to rendering more of people oriented services in the Area and called on them to sustain their cooperation with traditional rulers and security agents in the Community.

“I lack words to express how happy I am for His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Abdulrazak Sanni Isah-Koto to turban me as the Dan-Isan of Igu (Koton-Karfe) Kingdom. Since the inception of the reign of His Majesty, a lot of growth has been witnessed in this Area and I commend his courage and efforts geared towards honouring Sons/Daughters of this Kingdom. Now that the little I did have been recognized, I will double efforts as Allah enables me”.

He expressed appreciation to family members, friends, well-wishers, people of the Community and that of Gegu-Beki for turning out in their numbers to celebrate with him and prayed God to grant him wisdom to maximize the position for the benefit of others.
