Following the passing on to glory of former Nasarawa labour leader, Nasarawa Speaker was among early mourners across the State who have shown concerned and expressed his deep condolences to the family members over and well wishers over the sad occurrence.
The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Alh. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has condoled the government and people of the state over the death of former Chairman of Nigeria Labour Congress ( NLC) Comrade Abdul Keffi who died in the early hours of today.
A statement by Press Secretary to the Speaker, Jibrin Gwamna indicates that the Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi described the demise of the former state labour leader and media professional as a great loss to the entire state.
Balarabe Abdullahi sympathized with the government, civil servants, his immediate family, associates and the entire people of the state over the painful loss.
Speaker Balarabe prayed God to forgive Comrade Abdul Keffi of his shortcomings, reward his good deeds and grant him paradise.
Late Abdul Keffi served and retired as a staff of Nasarawa Broadcasting Service (NBS) and was a one time State NLC Chairman who served during the regime of the first Executive Governor of the state, Abdullahi Adamu, he died at the age of 64 as a result of brief illness in the early hours of today Friday.
