The FCT minister, Muhammad Musa Bello, has approved the appointment of mandate secretaries, executive secretaries of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), heads of Agencies as well as aides into the adminstration.
A statement by the Chief press secretary to the minister, Chief Anthony Ogunlewe, which was made available to newsmen in Abuja, on Monday, said the appointment was based on the recommendation of President Muhammadu Buhari.
He said the appointments are part of his administration commitment to reposition the FCTA into a more robust and service-oriented and administrative structure as well as to enhance its operational capability.
He gave the names of the newly appointed mandate secretaries to include, Ibrahim Abubakar Dantsoho, as Secretary, Area Council Services Secretariat, Abubakar Ibrahim, as Secretary, Agricultural & Rural Development Secretariat, Sani Dahir El-Katazu as Secretary, Education
Others are, Dr. Abubakar Tafida, as Secretary, Health & Human Services Secretariat, Muhammad B. Umar, as Secretary, Legal Services Secretariat, Hadiza Mahammed Kabir, as Secretary, Social Development Secretariat, Hon Zakari Angulu Dobi, as Secretary, Transportation Secretariat and Agboola Lukman Dabiri, as Secretary, Economic Planning, Revenue Generation and PPP

Also appointed were, Obinna Francis Ogwuegbu, as Coordinator, Satellite Towns Development. Department, Umar Shuaibu, as Coordinator, Abuja Metropolitan Management Council, Engr. Shehu Hadi Ahmed, as executive Secretary, FCDA, Ibrahim Damisa, as MD, Abuja Broadcasting Corporation, and Dr. Muhammed B. Kawu, as General Manager, Hospital Management Board.
The minister also approved the appointment of personal aides for both minister and minister of state, which he said included, Mohammed Bashir Mai-Bornu, as Chief of Staff, Abubakar Sani, as senior Special Assistant (Media), Abuzarri Suleiman Ribadu, as senior Special Assistant (Special Duties), Imolehin Akintunde Babatope, as senior Special Assistant (Environment & Waste Management, Ikharo Attah, as senior Special Assistant (Monitoring, Inspection & Enforcement), Ibrahim Ismaila, as senior Special Assistant (Lands, Urban & Regional Planning), Isiyaku Tanko Yamawo, as Senior Special Assistant (Community Relations).
Other appointed aides to the FCT minister are, Abu Salihu Muhammed, as Senior Special Assistant (Security), Barrister Lawal Yusuf, as aenior Special Assistant (legal & Multi-lateral Cooperation), Dr. Ejike Oji, as senior Special Assistant (Health & Hospital Management), Chika Alexander Nwatu, as senior Special Assistant (Community Relations), Ardo Hassan JIbo, as special Assistant (Community Relations), Abdullahi Danladi Galadima, as

Ibrahim Yahaya, as special Assistant (Religious Affairs), Alhaji Muhammad Saba, as special Assistant (Area Councils), Abdul Agbadu as special Assistant (Agriculture and Rural Development), Mr Austine Elemue, as special Assistant (Media), Mrs. Simisola Ayoade, as Special Assistant (Social Development Services), Abdulmalik Baba Ajanah, as Principal Private Secretary.
The minister said arrangements for the swearing-in of the appointees will be announced in due course.
