The minister of state for FCT, Hajiya Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, On Friday, visited the National hospital, Abuja, where she donated delivery items, wrappers an undisclosed cash to a mother of triplets, Mrs Florence Ayuba and other patients on admission at the hospital.
Hajiya Ramatu, who was led round the hospital wards by the director of clinical services, Dr Aisha Umar, said she was filled with so much joy in her heart to extend support to indigent family of the triplets and other patients in the hospital.

She said it was important for people to know that the FCT adminstration was profiling eligible families that deserve support from government, which she said was in the mandate of the FCT social development secretariat.

The minister thanked the director of clinical services of the hospital for her tireless efforts in giving adequate attention to all the patients at the hospital wards, while calling on residents to continue to stay safe and adhere to the Covid-19 protocol and also be cautious of the cholera diseases.

Among the items she donated included baby clothing, dampers and assorted toiletries, 50 wrappers as well as undisclosed sums of cash to the patients.
