The political leader of Toto Local Government and immediate Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Honourable Ibrahim Abdullahi Balarabe was in Toto LG to commissioned some legacy projects embarked by the administration of Hon Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas, the Executive Chairman Toto LGC.
The former speaker who represented the good people of Umaisha/Ugya State constituency said he was in Toto for a two separate programme. First, was a wedding event of a son to a former lawmaker who represented the good people of Toto/Gadabuke constituency at the State House of Assembly, Hon Usman Labaran Shafa held today at Kuru community in Toto LG.
Rt. Hon Balarabe along side Toto LG Chairman, Hon Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas, Commissioner for Health, Hon (Dr) Gwamna Gaza, State and LG appointees and other party stalwarts proceeded to Gadabuke district where he commissioned a gigantic town hall projects executed by the council boss.
While in Toto LGC secretariat, Rt. Hon Balarabe equally commissioned a 5 block of offices built for the supervisory councilors for ease of administration.
Alhaji Balarabe described Tashas as a great achiever who within shortest period of time provided leadership, governance and infrastructure to the people of the area.
“I am happy today that the Tashas we presented and sold to our people have made us proud with unprecedented projects”.
Balarabe said he was proud of Tasha’s signature, urging him to continue to do his best in order to justify the confidence repose on him by the good people of Toto LG.
On his part, Toto LG Chairman, Hon. Aliyu Tashas disclosed that he used revenue generated from Toto district to built an edifice that will accommodate all supervisory councilors for onward performance.
Hon Tashas said gesture aimed at fulfilling electoral promises made to the people.
According to him, aside from the Youth Centres he built in Gadabuke district, he has had renovated that Toto and Umaisha districts.
Tashas said his administration was able to address insecurity challenge bedeviling the area, noted that he was able to purchased security vans to fight bandits and criminal elements.
He commended the Rt. Hon Ibrahim Abdullahi Balarabe for his support and assured of loyalty.
He said he built the youth centre in Gadabuke district to balance the equation and provided sense of belonging to teeming youths in the area.
Tashas revealed that the former Speaker nurtured him politically and hence to named some projects after him in an effort to appreciate him.
The Chairman of Toto LG also appreciated the people of Toto LG for supporting his adminstration.
