Forum of Kogi LGC secretaries present Campaign Materials to Engr. Bashir Gegu for Ododo’s guber ambition

The secretary Omala local government area of Kogi State, Hon Joy Ojoma Odaudu has presented some samples of campaign materials to Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engineer Muhammed Abubakar Abubakar Bashir Gegu.
Presenting the materials at his residence at Commissioner quarters Lokoja, the state capital, Odaudu who is also the forum of secretaries’ coordinators said the materials consists of branded T-shirts and Caps are to be massively produced to market the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman ahead of November 11 gubernatorial election.
She said her group will focused on issue based campaigns, emphasizing the stakeholders in the party knows the rudiments of peaceful engineering campaigns.
She described Ododo as the best candidate for the state, noting that the feed back so far on his general acceptability is quite impressive.
Responding, the State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engineer Muhammed Abubarkar Basir Gegu who emphasized that the Forum has in their modest capacity has deemed it fit to give back to the society in appreciation of what Governor Yahaya Bello has done for them.
According to him, the gesture equally showcase their readiness for the incoming election come eleventh November this year.
He also explained that the crowd which consist of eminent men and women from Kpakpazi, Okpaka and Hausa communities among others from Kogi Local Government area of the state were around to appreciate Governor Yahaya Bello for linking up the council to the national grid and ensuring that the cables were upgraded to (175mm) to cover the communities in Kogi Local Government area and beyond.
On the the recent killing of an (APC) supporter in Kogi Local Government Area, Miss Khadija Inna, the Commissioner described the demise of the lady as a sad phenomenon emphasized that the APC stakeholders condemned the violent dimension politics has taken in recent time in the Local Government and assured that the law would take it cause to bring the perpetrators to the consequence of their actions.
