Gbajabiamila strengthen effective legislature for national development- Gaya Says
The Member Representing Albasu, Ajingi and Gaya federal constituency in the House of Representatives Hon Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya has felicitated with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, on the auspicious occasion of his 59th birthday.
The congratulatory message was conveyed in a statement issue to media Houses, saying within his stint in the House of Representatives he has made robust contributions to the building of Democratic and legislature for effectively play its role as a bulwark and foremost institution of democracy while his exemplary representation of his constituency and passionate service to Nigeria as a whole at the National Assembly over the years.
According to him Gbajabiamila has been consistent in the dogged pursuit of anything considers to be in the best interest of citizens right as floor member in 2003 ,Minority Leader of the in the 7th Assembly, Majority Leader in 8th National Assembly now as speaker like some of us in the 8 and 9th of National Assembly in respect of party affiliation knew Mr Speaker have a common vision for the National Development.
He described him as “a courageous and patriotic leader, who consistent display of unwavering commitment to the unity, peace and progress of Nigeria and particularly, the independence of the legislature is legendary and worthy of commendation and also a dependable partner in the efforts to focus the legislature on entrenching democratic practices and always helping the government to improve service delivery to the Nigerian people.
