Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Yahaya Bello has approved the appointment of Chairman and members of the Kogi State Civil Service Commission and the Kogi State Local Government Service Commission respectively as follows:
A. Kogi State Civil Service Commission
Barr. Mohammed Tanko Musa – Chairman
Isah Olodoun – Permanent Member
Godwin Sule Odah – Permanent Member
B. Kogi State Local Government Service Commission
Adebenege Adams – Chairman
Elisha Peter Folorunsho – Permanent Member
Barr. Ndamodu Ali – Permanent Member
Babadoko Suleiman – Permanent Member
Yahaya Segun Alilu – Permanent Member
Recall that Inline with Kogi State extant laws, Governor Yahaya Bello has forwarded names of nominees for appointment into Commissions in Kogi State for consideration and approval of the State House of Assembly as follows.
A statement by Chief Press Secretary, Onogwu Muhammed said In a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Ayoade Folashade Arike, PhD, the Governor said his approval of the appointments was In line with section 198 of the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended) and section 4 (2) of Kogi State Local Government Service Commission Law.
Governor Bello also congratulated all the appointees and looks forward to improved contributions to the New Direction Government.
