Gov. Sule’s Free Medical Outreach Treats over 6000 Patients in Nasarawa West Zone.

Nasarawa state Government has expressed commitment towards providing health services to the people of the state.

The chied executive officer, Doctors on the move Africa, DOTMAN, Doctor Haruna Joseph Kigbu, stated this during Governor Abdullahi Sule free medical outreach for Nasarawa west zone, held at Federal Medical Centre.

The free medical outreach initiated by Governor Abdullahi Sule, for Nasarawa west senatorial zone, began on Monday, at the Federal Medical center, Keffi, with six thousand patients benefitting.

While surgeries were carried out on some patients suffering from cataract, others benefitted from drugs, scanning among other medical services.

Speaking on the importance of the free medical outreach, the chief executive officer, doctor on the move Africa, doctor Haruna Joseph Kigbu, said the programme was anchored by the Nasarawa government to help reduce health challenges of the people.

Doctor Kigbu further disclosed that so far over one hundred patients have been operated from different ailments, and appreciated the staff and management of Federal medical centre Keffi for their corporation.

According to him, the surgeries carried out include, Thyroidectomy, Myomectomy, Caesarean section, Hernia repair, Appendectomy including minor and major surgeries among others just as he advised people to always maintain environmental hygienes also observe otso as to avoid contracting diseases.

Some patients interviewed, appreciated the governor Sule for initiating the Free medical outreach which according to them has helped in tackling their health challenges, urging him to sustain the tempo.
