On Wednesday, 08/03/2023 Toto ward was agog with stakeholders of All Progressives Congress, APC, taking over the nooks and crannies to canvass support for the incumbent Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State and member representing Toto/Gadabuke constituency, contribution to the socio-economic development of the area.
The APC campaign team which had DG Campaign, Hon. Danlami Usman Dantsoho, Toto ward councilor, Abdulazeez Ahmed, women, youths and elders first who visited Chiji and Gate polling units to interact with electorates on the need to reelect Governor Abdullahi Sule and member representing Toto/Gadabuke constituency.
Former Toto LGC boss and now Secretary in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Commission, Hon. Mohammed Musa Ohinoyi (General) told the people of Chiji and Gate come out en-masse to vote for Governor Abdullahi Sule and Hon Usman Labaran Shafa, saying their return will guarantee more dividends of democracy to the area.
Alhaji Musa General noted that the Lawmaker who many known as Principal has performed beyond reasonable doubt, having been tested, tried and proven hence to rally round him to succeed in office.
On his part, the incumbent lawmaker and candidate of governing All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon Usman Labaran Shafa appreciated the two communities for keeping faith with present administration and assures them of more commitment to do more if voted in.
While in Toto town, the APC assembly candidate flanked by Hon. Musa General, Talban Toto, the Toto ward councilor and many personalities visited some polling units to canvassed for support, the lawmaker received accolades during the visit by the electorate for his contribution ranging from employment, empowerment, installation of solar power lights, and facilitated some block of classrooms in Toto and Gadabuke districts, assuring that he will do more if elected.
The electorates commended APC led administration in the State for securing the lives of their community against banditry and Daru-salam activities in the area, calling for a sustain
Some of the polling units visited in Toto ward includes, Sabo-Kudi, Yoruba open space, Madaratul Sabiu-Sahad school, Kambari and many others assured APC delegation of their resolve to support and vote ruling APC in slated Gubernatorial and state assembly elections.
Responding the lawmaker pledged to offer more positive representation as part of efforts to consolidate on his first term commitment, even as he said he has provided some dividends to the six electoral wards that made up of Toto/Gadabuke constituency.
He, however, said his commitment for a better Toto/Gadabuke constituency cannot be compromised even as he restated his commitment to provide more solar street lights and motorized boreholes in Toto.
He urged them to mobilized for his reelection and that of the Governor enable them provide more dividends.
