Nasarawa Speaker, Hon. Shafa, Mr.  Tashas, Pharm. Yahaya, DG Oseze Others Describes Dr. Zakaria Shuib’s Death As Devastating And Great Lost To Egbira Nation, Toto APC Family

The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, has expressed shock over the death of a former Toto LG Chairmanship aspirant who passed away on Monday.

Dr. Zakari Shuaib, a Lokogoma based medical practitioner and contested the Chairmanship ticket of the Toto LGA of Nasarawa State under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) against Abdullahi Aliyu Tashas and other died after a brief illness in Lokogoma community on Monday .

In a statement released in Toto on Tuesday by his Media Office, the Speaker who was ably represented by a delegation headed by Hon. Usman Labaran Shafa, member representing Toto/Gadabuke constituency described Shuaib passing as one death too many and a devastating blow to the Egbira Nation and Toto LG APC family.

The Statement further quoted the Speaker as saying: “I received the sad news of the passing of my brother, Dr. Zakaria Shuaib 23rd August, 2021, with a deep pain and grief. He said.

On behalf of my family, the Government and good people of Toto LG, I convey our deepest condolences.

According to Toto LG political leader, “He was not just a loving personality, a generous giver and someone who lived for others, he was to many a beacon of hope of a better tomorrow. This painful exit is much more than the end of an individual.

The delegation was received and usher in to the family residence by the Chief mourner and deceased brother Mallam Muhammed, thanked the Stakeholders and leaders on behalf of the family for coming down to identifying with them at this time of grief.

Global Times Nigeria Correspondent report that Hon Usman Labaran Shafa, member representing Toto/Gadabuke constituency, Nasarawa Speaker, Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, Toto LG APC Chairmanship candidate, Hon Abdullahi Aliyu Tashas (Aquatic), State Commissioner for health, Pharm. Ahmed Baba Yahaya, and DG Nasarawa State Pension Board were among mourners who paid condolences to deceased Family.

“May Allah forgive and admit him to Aljannah Firdaus and grant the family, friends and associates the patience to bear this painful loss,” he said.
