Gwagwalada Chaiman Summons Emergency Security Meeting Over Death Of Two Fulani Herdsmen.

The Chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council, FCT, Abuja, Alhaji Adamu Mustapha, has summoned an emergency security meeting after reported death of two herders at Paiko community of the council.
It was gathered that the two deceased herders were said to have been killed by yet to be identified persons in a forest in the area while rearing cattle on Sunday, a situation which it was rumoured that some herders were planning a reprisal attack over the killing of their kinsmen.
Global Times Nigeria, report that the remours of the reprisal prompted the council chairman to quickly summoned an emergency security meeting, which held at the council conference hall that had representatives of Army, Police, civil defence corps, Immigration and other top security outfit, Ardos of Fulani, village chiefs and traditional rulers in attendance.
Mustapha, who is the FCT ALGON chairman described the security meeting as a proactive mesures to curtail an impending security mesures between the Fulanis and Gwaris over death of two fulani herdemen in the area.
The chairman, who was visibly angry over the incident, advised both parties to exercise restrain and allow a full scale investigation on the issue, warning that any party that takes law into his hands will never be spared no matter how highly placed.
“And it was on this premise that I want to make it categorically that matter how big you are, we cannot fold our hands to allow our area council to become a theatre of war, killings and reprisal attacks against ourselves”he said.
He urged all the security men and women to ensure they are on allert to ensure that, nobody go away with lawlessness in the area council.

He, however, warned that, those who commits such crime against a human dignity by killing, God will never forgive such person, saying “And we shall not stop at anything to ensure that, that person or perrsons is found and face the wrath of law.he added.
Others stake holders that attended the security meeting l included, Hon. Isah Egga Dobi, Hon. Zakari Angulu Dobi, traditional rulers of Dobi Axis, religious leaders, Leadership of gwagwalada area council Ardos and cohorts and political leaders.
The council Chairman, therefore, set up a committee to liase with security agents in order to ensure for full scale and thorough investigation to unravel the perpetrator of the act within one week.
