The recent re-arrest and subsequently  extradition of a fugitive leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu do not go down well with some Nigerians specifically those of the South South region of the country.

Reacting to Nnamdi Kanu’s re-arrest, former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has openly finger ex-Niger Delta Militant, Asari Dokubo to the re-arrest of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.

Omokri who insisted that Dokunbo was fully involved in the arrest of the IPOB leader and recalled how Dokubo threatened to bring Kanu down, few weeks ago.

The former Presidential aide in a post on Twitter wrote, “Exactly 2 weeks ago, Nnamdi Kanu quarrelled with Asari Dokubo and Asari promised to deal with him. He even swore on the Quran.”

“Asari’s exact words on June 14 were “I will surely bring you down.”

“And now this. Is it a coincidence?”

“Don’t make unnecessary enemies.”

It would be recall that there has been a fallout between the former Niger Delta warlord and Kanu due to ideological differences in the agitation for Biafra.

The differences between the ex-Niger Delta Militant and Kanu saw Dokubo create the Biafra Customary Government (BCG).

Dokubo had vowed to destroy Kanu while describing him as a thief using the agitation for Biafra as a business.

“Nnamdi Kanu, I’m not in your category but for this, I will surely bring you down. I will destroy this evil empire that is working as a hindrance to the restoration of Biafra,” Dokubo had threatened.
