The Executive Chairman Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Tashas has said that the local government has remain one of the most peaceful in the country.
Hon Aliyu Tashas stated this while speaking at the 2023 Irehwa Cultural and Hunting Festival held at Shafa Abakpa in Toto Local Government Area Tuesday, 26th December, 2023.
A press statement signed and issued by Senior Special Assistant, SSA, Media and Communication, Yahaya Idris Toto, said the Executive Chairman spoke extensively on security and political development in the area, called on politicians to unite and work for peace and progress of the area.
He emphasized the need for politicians to caution their supporters against any act that will affect the existing peace being enjoyed in the area stressing that anyone who misbehave or go against the law will be dealt with accordingly.
Hon. Tashas emphasized that his administration will not give room for anything that will affect the exiting peace in the area.
The Toto LG boss commended the developmental strides of Gov. Abdullahi Sule in the area, calling on the people to give the Governor all the needed support to succeed.
