The Member Representing the good People of Idah, Ofu, Igalamela/Odolu, and Ibaji Constituency at the house of Representatives, Hon. David Idris Zacharia has felicitated with Adherents of Jesus Christ and the citizens as they commemorate yet another Easter Sunday which climaxed with the resurrection of our Lord and Savior (Jesus Christ) from death.

Hon. Zacharia in a message to the citizens of his constituency on the occasion of Easter Festival and made available to media Organizations in Lokoja, said His trial, crucifixion, death, and rising from the Tomb after three days of depict love, hope, salvation, assurance, and confidence.

The Federal lawmaker remarked that God gave His only begotten Son to salvage man from their sins and shortcomings asserting that Christ throughout His sojourn on Earth demonstrated, simplicity, humility, sacrifices, reconciliation, forgiveness, and Obedient.

Hon. Zacharia urges Christ Followers and the generality of the people of the state in the spirit of the season to use the period of the festival to pray for God’s intervention in the several nadirs of human, Security, and socio-economic malaise the society and its people are currently facing.

“It’s not a season only for merrymaking or jamboree but a time for sober reflection especially the current endemic of insecurity, and economic meltdown occasion by the covid.19 health challenges that had brought untold hardship and difficulties to the citizens”

Hon Zacharia also eulogized the people of Idah Federal Constituency for marking the 2022 Easter Festival under a rancor-free environment and implored them to sustain the momentum of peace, love, giving, patience, simplicity, good neighborliness as exemplified by Christ to permeate them

The federal Lawmaker while wishing the citizens a happy Easter celebration, however, cushion them to celebrate it with moderation and avoid any anti-social behaviors that will dent their reputations as well as breach the peace and unity of their communities.
