This year’s Eid-el – Kabir celebration in Umaisha, Toto LG was today observed peacefully with the Chief Imam of the area Justice Muhammed Yahaya Usman led the two raka’at congregational prayers at Umaisha EID Central Ground.

Justice Muhammed Yahaya Usman who is the Khadi Shariah Court of Appeal Lafia harps on the need for political gladiators and their followers to play the game according to its ethics for the success of the upcoming elections in the country noting that power belongs to God.

Addressing his people shortly after sallah homage in his Palace the Ohimege Opanda HRH Alh Usman Abdullahi commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for his security and development efforts in the area just as he hailed the Speaker of the State Assembly Balarabe Abdullahi for being up and doing in bettering the lots of his people.

The First Class Traditional Ruler of Egbura People in Nasarawa State and Chairman Toto LG Traditional Council called on his people not to be idle but embrace farming, fishing and trading as well as other agricultural activities just as he lamented on the pollution of the river through the use of chemicals for fishing and called for attitudinal change.

He urged the people to sustain the existing peace in the area, respect constituted authorities, pray for the nation’s security challenges, be security conscious and be their brothers keepers.

On his part, the Overseer Umaisha Development Area Mallam Iliyasu Miriyam commended the efforts of Governor Abdullahi Sule, Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi and Ohimege Opanda HRH Alh Usman Abdullahi for their tireless efforts in securing the people and attracting development to the area calling for its sustenance.
