Concerned over the safety of lives of the indigent Students of Kogi state pursuing academic careers in Plateau state, Governor Yahaya Bello, has ordered for their immediate withdrawal back to the state.
Governor Bello, while reacting to the dastardly killing of some Nigerians whom he described as criminal act, ordered for the immediate withdrawal of Kogi State Students from Jos, the Plateau State capital.
” It would be recalled that the skirmishes and unrest engulfed Jos for about a week where scores of persons have been declared dead. It was in the heat of the crisis that we lost one of our dear brother to the cold hands of death. Our prayers and good thoughts are with the family of the deceased, may his soul find eternal rest.” Bello mourned.
Consequent upon the painful demise of a Kogi son, the Governor has taken this proactive step of evacuating the students to avoid further lost of lives of Kogi indigenes from the University of Jos and other tertiary institutions in Plateau State
The evacuation team is to be led by the National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS) national President, Comrade Rachael Mojirola Balogun, through the office of the Special Adviser on Youths and Students affairs Hon. Jubril Ahmadu and the Senior Special Assistant on students Matters to Kogi state Governor Hon. Babangida.
The leadership of the National Association of Kogi State Students expressed its appreciation to the Governor for his proactive measures on all issues capable of undermining the safety and welfare of Kogi state Students across the country.

They passionately appealed to Nigerians to support the Governor to become the next President of the nation for the transformation of the country.
According to the Students, Yahaya Bello is the most suitable man for the position of the number one citizen of the country, where sound logic and antecedents matter.
” The whole world is in dire need of leaders like Governor Yahaya Bello, a man that is utterly detribalised, a leader whose style is all inclusive, devoid of primordial sentiments.
“Governor Yahaya Bello is the sure solution to the nation’s leadership challenges, especially in this time of our national history. We must therefore join our voices with numerous ” the Students advised
