Just in: Oghenesivbe joins ACSPN as full member.
Two stars general in communication strategy and media Politics, Olorogun Barr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, PhD, has been admitted into the prestigious Association of Communication Scholars and Professionals of Nigeria (ACSPN), as a full member.
Secretary General of ACSPN and Vice Chancellor of Caleb University, Prof Nosa Owens-Ibie, signed Oghenesivbe’s ACSPN membership certificate, heralding his full membership of the association with effect from September 1, 2023.
Oghenesivbe, the immediate past Executive Assistant on Communications to Delta State Governor under Okowa administration and Spokesperson of Delta State PDP Campaign Council in the 2023 general elections, was on August 26, this year, honoured with an Award as the “most performing media personality in Political Communication Strategy and Media Politics” by the Editorial Board of Top Flyers International Magazine, an Abuja based media conglomerate.
He holds a Professional Doctorate Degree in Information and Strategy Management, a Masters Degree in Public and International Affairs, a Degree in Political Science, a Degree in Law, a Barrister-at-Law Postgraduate Certificate, and a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, to mention but a few.
He is currently a communication scholar at the University of Lagos; and a Distinguished Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management, CIISM, Member, International Communication Association, M.ICA, Full Member, Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, M.NIIA, et al.
ASCPN, said Oghenesivbe’s membership of the association was in recognition of his giant strides in academic pursuits, and for the enviable roles he has been playing in the past three decades in the field of Communication and Journalism.

“I deeply appreciate Delta State Government and the immediate past governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, CON, who believed in my professional capacity and invested so much to sharpen my communication skills and professional development in the part six years.
“Above all, I give God all the Glory, while looking forward to a more fulfilling career, and service to humanity, Delta State and Country, Nigeria,” Oghenesivbe said.
